Hi there i'm using Opencart 3.0.3.1 & Journal 3.0.28
sometimes customers get 3 - 5 email on 1 order telling them their payment was succesfull.
Any ideas?
Don't use Journal.
This here is a OpenCart Forum, and OpenCart per default does not sending several emails.
Maybe you have also an additional extension (or more) installed?
Beside tis, 3.0.3.1 is not the best option.

Don't use Journal. The worst theme ever.... Journal just from the first sight looks impressive, but OC have been totally destroyed using this theme. So if you want to have a lot of problems it is your choice...
So first like OSWorX said check your extension maybe you have installed someone which can send additional emails, if no... ask Journal developers what is wrong.

It's true that Journal has its problems but moving away from it may not be an option for the OP.
Does the problem happen only on one particular Payment Gateway or all?
As others have said though, you should try Journal support first.

I don't know journal but it would surprise me if a template would send additional mail.
