Hi,

I am trying to use the Mail function on opencart 1.5.6.1 and having some trouble receiving mail.

I have selected to be notified when a new user register and a new order comes through. However when this occurs, i get no mail whatsoever.

I also tried sending mail from the form on contact us which doesn't work either.

In saying this, the customer gets all the emails once they place orders, register and when an order update changes,

Are you using smtp or mail ?
Also, any errors in system/logs ?

If the email address is correct is not in spam, then its difficult to comment without debugging and seeing where the issue is

Hi Saile,

I prefer to debug the system to find the reason of the mail problem in your store. Please let me access your ftp to find the error thrown in your store as sending the email.

Hi Mate,

I ended up getting clearing cache, entered SMTP settings. Then removed them. Cleared cache and left it to use Mail().

I also restored the /admin director with original files.

It worked after that.
