I agree with JNeuhoff. I use two different directories and I just need to keep those in the straight in the excel spreadsheet then I just FTP all my 3000+ images into those directories. Easy, simple and as it needs to be. I don't need any complications of adding images. let me see what i can do. i might be able to allow people which folders they can store files in but it won't allow renaming of files or moving them.

I've never used the, rename, move or copy options in the file manager. I think its a great idea to remove them. All you would need is a client to move a folder of images and then not know what has happened to their site.
I think multi upload would be very useful, I currently do this with a mod. I think to add a way for deleted product to auto remove the related file/s would be great in terms of keeping the site clean over a long pariod of time.
