Image Manager not working

Hi,

I'm a new user of opencart I have the latest version installed (1.5). and it is a clean install. I am also on Mac OSX if that matters at all.

My image manager does not work at all. It just shows up blank. I have searched many different solutions and found no relief for my problem. Some said a corrupt image was the culprit, I found no such thing, i thought maybe my install was corrupt so I did a full new install. Image manager still not working.

I am at a loss as to what could cause this problem, I have done other installs of opencart on other websites with no problems with the image manager.

I renamed image/cache/data/ folder and refreshed
