Re: Affiliate scheme and coupons not being taken into accoun
So, I reinstalled Simplified Checkout module and now it is acknowledging the coupon. Plus I have the tracking code sorted... at least I know how it should be and for our purposes we opening it up to anyone being an affiliate so that is fine, but the generate tracking code thing still isn't working i...

Affiliate scheme and coupons not being taken into account
Sorry to kind of double post but my last post was about another issue I have resovled and this question would be lost in that. The affiliate scheme isn't taking into account coupons for discounts but is giving commission on the full rrp. Is there a fix for this like there was for not taking into acc...

Re: Something wrong with affiliate scheme for me
RIGHT: i have discovered that the tracking code I was adding was wrong. I had to take it from a forum post because the Tracking link generator isn't working, and still isn't, but it was wrong. I now realise you need to add: /?tracking=trackingcodehere rather than how I added it before based on a for...

Re: Something wrong with affiliate scheme for me
ok, just got a friend to test it too. He clicked the link which opened in IE and did a purchase and the affiliate side of it wasn't registered. Strange. So can anyone think of any conflicts or mistakes I may have made. I am going to uninstall any modules I have put in since the first affiliate test ...

Re: Something wrong with affiliate scheme for me

Something wrong with affiliate scheme for me
Hey, so I have been testing this out. I am running 1.5.1. I have added the simple checkout mod but during the testing have turned this off and uninstalled from inside the module area of the admin area to similar results. I have created two test affiliates. One a while ago, one today. Initially the f...

Re: Modules for specific categories or products
It's ok, i've finally figured out how to do it. 1) Create layout called NEWLAYOUT with route product/product 2) Assign html module to NEWLAYOUT with the music video/ soundcloud embed in it 3) In Product page go to Design and override layout with NEWLAYOUT. and bingo. Took a bit of forum searching to...

RESOLVED IT: Modules for specific categories or products
I just bought a great module for html boxes called Unibox. I have left a similar comment on the module page in the hope the dev can answer it and implement the request, but i thought i'd post here to see if it is even possible. We are a small DIY record label and use the shop to sell the CDs and DVD...

SOLVED: Categories on a horizontal nav bar
I must have cokced up somewhere when i went and deleted the products etc., included in the install, but in the demo, and in demo sites for modules for sale there is a nav bar in dark grey under the home, wishlist, etc. nav bar, upon which the categories go. eg: http://gallery.optheme.com/index.php?r...

We've been using an old version of Open Cart for a couple of years. Needed another version for a new project so installed the 1.5 version. Bloody marvelous lads, really, well done. Re: Upgrade now or wait to 1.5.0
Well, a) if someone wants to rip us off for a £2.50 download of mp3s then they're obviously too skint to pay and so fair enough, they can nick it, we don't care enough as to be honest we don't think mp3s have any value, but each to their own b) I want people who aren't going to rip us off (and no-on...

Re: Upgrade now or wait to 1.5.0
Right, i just did what I asked about the Order Completed thing and it actually appears to work. It remains the default state straight off and it tells our customers Order Completed so they get the downloads straight away and it tells them the order is completed, which i a little fib but only by a fe...
