Getting these buttons on a clean install of opencart,

Try to refresh the page while holding the Shift key.

already tried clearing cache hard refresh etc

If nobody else is reporting the issue on Github Opencart already, then you might be facing server cache issues.

It might be happening because of a conflict with a third-party module or service. The text displayed on the screen is the response of when adding to the cart is successfully done.

Please uninstall the module you installed, clear the cache, and use the private browser to check your website.

i have 0 modules this is a clean install of opencart

I had the exact same issue on a fresh install of OpenCart 4.0.2.2. Browser refresh solved the problem. If that's not working, try to delete the cache file from the storage directory and refresh again.

i dont know if its my browser locally i always try to hard refresh and manually remove the cache directory in my firefox

Noo, i can confirm the add to cart button is actually cause the stylesheet i reverted my stylessheet 1 date back from the github and it displays it correctly now
