I have done a lot googling, but did not get any proper solution for that.
When we apply a valid coupon, it shows "Success: Your coupon discount has been applied!", but nothing changes in the subtotal or total.
Whereas the gift voucher works perfectly.

Kindly check the same and help me.

Have you enabled coupons in order totals in admin

have you enabled coupon for certain products or categories?
or have you added any related coupon extension ?

I am not using any coupon extension. If I have not enabled it, how would be the Free shipping coupon would have worked.

I guess there must be some bug in the calculation, in the coupon calculation.

By default there are no bugs unless something is modified.

Nothing. You are adding a condition that it should only work when total is above 100.
Also there is some error on sub total. You will see this error on top once you apply coupon.

Actually I had changed a few things in the code, thats why the error is showing.

Now it might not show !!

Don't know if this helps your particular case. Even though the customer gets the coupon code discount, in the customer order in admin, it doesn't show until applied, itwill not be applied automatically.

Go into the order, go through each tab until you get to the final tab '5.totals'

then click the refresh button next to the coupon field, making sure the coupon code is showing in the field. You need to also do this for shipping, so the shipping is applied. Its silly that it need to be done at all.

I am working on a mod to fix this so its automatically applied. It then will show up in the coupon usage table.
