Thanks JNeuhoff. I tried to install the tool, the one which is compatible to 2.1.0.2 (opencart-2-x-export-import-multilingual-3-22.ocmod) but the Extension upload failed to upload the zip file, saying "FTP needs to be enabled in the settings". From which setting is that?

I got the setting and enabled FTP !
Should I disable the FTP after the installation of the import/export tool?

Update:
I got the tool installed and am able to export the needed information.

Bear me with one final question:
Should the menu design of 3.xx (to which I import) be the same as the 2.xx (from which I export) before importing the information to 3.xx? I mean the category and products menu.
