Hello, thank you for the replies, it seems the Journal template has on option to have the first option pre-selected, after I turned it off the web page behaved normally.

Hi, I know this post is a bit old now but could you tell me where you found the option to turn on/off the auto select option in the Journal theme? I can't find it I'm using Journal2.
