Hi

I uploaded the site to live server after configuring the "config.php" file. The front page is opening fine but all the links on the index page is pointing to http://localhost ...... and direct me to the local server.
I understand there is need to set the base path but don't know how. Any help will be appreciated.

Opencart Version : 1.4.8

Thanks

Log into the admin panel, then go to SYSTEM > SETTINGS and change the Store URL value to the correct domain. This should resolve it

Thanks for your reply. Now the admin page is directing me to the localhost server.
On the live server after enter the user and pass to login to admin when I press the login button then again it takes me to the localhost, any idea. Do I need to modify the path to any file before uploading to server ?

Both config.php file (front end and admin) are configured correctly.

Thanks

Ah, you will need to change the URL's in the admin config.php file too (located in the admin folder)

Now on front end having the error mentioned below.

Notice: Undefined index: comment in /public_html/mytest/catalog/controller/checkout/payment.php on line 131Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /public_html/mytest/index.php:92) in /public_html/mytest/system/engine/controller.php on line 27

The error arises at the Payment Information Page (Step 2 of 3). When continue button is clicked the error comes up instead of showing the confirmation page....any idea ?

Thanks

Are you using a custom theme?
Also, what payment gateway is causing this?

If it's a custom theme I would contact the developer. It is likely to be an older theme template that needs updating

Its running fine on the localhost without giving any error and redirecting it to the Paypal sandbox. Error is only arising on the live server. I'll look at the payment.tpl file as I did some customization to this file or will re-upload the file to the server if it works.

/catalog/controller/checkout/payment.php is not getting the comment from the payment page, so it means you have probably removed the comment field from the template

Yes, the problem was in the payment page as I had commented the comment section. Now after removing the comments from the code its working fine.
Now the whole process is working smooth from ordering the product to view the order as pending in the admin.

Jay you've been great help. Thank you very much.

Sorry man, keep bugging you. Now the order status stays "pending" in admin under order even though I edit its status from pending to complete ???
