Hi Guys, great script, loads of great potential for me except one thing

I cant get the installation to work using the newest version V7.2

I have all the files copied over (copied via filezilla in binary), assigned the correct permissions to the folders and files as per the install.txt file

I point to the store folder and get the dreaded "Internal Server Error", also tried pointing to the install folder too

Any suggestions?  ???

First try to rename the .htaccess file to something else and report if the error still exists.

Ok, Ive tried renaming the htaccess to htaccess_old in both the root folder and the admin folder

now its showing "Error: register_globals is enabled!"

So created a php.ini file

dropped it in the root of the store folder and also the admin folder and I get this error

Notice: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /home/xxx/public_html/xxx/demo/library/locator.php on line 7

Anything else I should try ?

place this in your root folder where the main index.php is

in a .htaccess

php_flag magic_quotes_gpc off
php_flag register_globals off

then you should be good

Nope no good im afraid, back to the Internal server Error now.

Just to recap:

I now have no php.ini in the root or admin directory
I have the suggested htaccess files in both the root and the admin directory

Now giving the Internal Server Error

Try deleting the .htaccess out of the maing folder and admin folder.

I have this problem when using WAMP. You need to configure your servers to use .htaccess.

I will look into if there is a solution for this happening.
