Yes!

I thought I would add another folder in the extension directory for affliate modules. I'm not planing on doing this until opencart becaomes more popular or somebody rights the modules.

that could be useful and I'd like that in the future as an option but I think there's a lot to do with opencart before that point and Daniel has a good track on that...
