Hi guys,

I'm making this clothing site but i'm having a bit of trouble trying to do the following:

when you select a product from the categories/collections page you normally see an image with the image or product description next to it. Since it's a clothing shop I want to display multiple products in one picture: shirt, shoes, and tie for instance. Each of those individual objects have different options/colors/seizes and prices so I was wondering if opencart is able to do this.

Displaying the same picture 3 times for each product individual is quite stupid and looks not as good and unprofesionnal I think.

Cheers,

Dieter

Not sure why you are displaying the same picture 3 times. In the admin area you should be able to choose additional images from there.

No thats not what i meant

We have a model wearing an outfit consisting out of a pair of trausers, a tie, a shirt, ...
People can buy the complete outfit, or just the tie, the shirt, ...

But since we're offering 4 different products on one image we have 4 different discriptions (that's not a problem), 4 different prices and 4 different set of options.

Is there any way to do this in opencart?

It looks more appealing to buy if you see the complete outfit rather then just the tie, the shirt on a seperate product page

I think you can do so in OpenCart:

Use only one product, with one image, and have all the details, e.g. the selection of the outfit's pieces, be specified in options. This should work without code changes in OpenCart because a product can support multiple options.

Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig

Ya, what the "hoff" said :) This way you can choose each item separately.

I'm thinking you do the main image as the mannequin with the full outfit. Then have the additional images: shoes, pants, shirt, tie as the closeups
