Can OpenCART be run on windows server with IIS7 and PHP5?

I have a linux server on the internet but I have to develop it from my Windows PC.

I just to ensure that can it be run on windows environment with PHP5 & mySQL5.0.

It works fine however you may need to adjust the config file. While the code appears to be checking the OS properly, the config doesn't seem to show it always and the windows install sees "\" instead of "/"

So if you are getting a config error right after install, take a look here for the fix:
