Im sure this has been explained before but i haven't found a solution.
The mail settings are currently using PHP Mail & I'm running 1.4.8, The order emails normally sent to a customer are not being sent,the new order email is not being sent to the store admin either. however alert emails sent to additional address work just fine.
Please advise me of any solutions.
Anyone else experience this? I am seeing the same thing. In testing mode, the user gets an invoice/receipt, but the only way the store owner gets a notice is to add his address to "Additional Alert E-Mails." Sending out emails directly is fine, so that eliminates any possibility of there being a problem with the php mail function.
I am also having an issue. I can send an email in every aspect of open cart except when a customer orders. There are no PHP errors when we order and the order gets submitted successfully. The emails work with both smtp and mail option on everything exempt the customer receipt. Even additional email alerts are not going through for the orders. It does work when a user creates an account.
I have also reverted to the default template and still no go. I updated all files that I thought would cause the problem - but still the same result.
Any help or direction to look would be greatly appreciated!
