I've added a new tax to my setup calling it US35% Duty/Tariff and it applies to all US customers only.

Probably it will kill my US customer business, but what else can I do? Shut off shipping to US altogether?

I can't absorb the duty, and so I have the customer pay it up front. If they really want what I have (some products simply aren't available anywhere else at all) then fine, but for ordinary products this will stop folks cold.

Canada Post has teamed up with https://Zonos.com and Zonos will collect the funds and provide me with a code so I can complete the shipment to the USA.

If the US wasn't around 25% of my business I wouldn't bother, but what else can I do???

Sign me,

Really ticked off!

I think you could eassily implement it as another order total.

Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig

I've released a new Tariff Fees extension that lets you set up fees based on the destination country and the product's country of origin. It lets you use any text-based product data field (e.g. Location) for the origin country data.

If further features are needed (e.g. HS codes or commodity codes) by anyone then please send me a message and I can try to add that:
