On shared hosting, how can I configure OpenCart 3.0 to use different storage directories for multiple installations to avoid conflicts? Is there a way to specify unique storage names outside of the webserver DocumentRoot?
DIR_STORAGE in the config.php and admin/config.php can be changed to be different for each install.
Just give each install its own storage folder outside public_html (e.g. /home/username/storage1/, /home/username/storage2/) and update DIR_STORAGE in both config.php and admin/config.php for each site. That keeps them separate and avoids conflicts.
