Different Tax Rates for Product and Options

I’m working on an OpenCart store and I need some advice regarding tax setup.

I want the main product to have 13% tax.

I want the product options (like extras or add-ons) to have another % of tax, let's say 9%.

I couldn’t find a way to assign different tax rates directly to product options in OpenCart. By default, it looks like the tax is applied at the product level only.
Has anyone implemented something similar, maybe with extensions or a workaround (like using sub-products, modifiers, or a custom module)?

Any guidance, tips, or module recommendations would be really helpful.

As you correctly pointed out this feature doesn't exist in a standard OpenCart. If you can't find any extension on the OpenCart marketplace then you'll have to find a professional developer to implement a suitable extension for this.

Having said that, this is a highly unusual scenario. Why do you need different taxes for product options?
