Hi everyone,

I’m Ajay Hinduja, Geneva, Switzerland, (Swiss) travel enthusiast who’s also working on an OpenCart project in my spare time.

After upgrading to the latest version of OpenCart, I’ve encountered compatibility issues with some extensions that were working fine earlier. Could you please share your suggestions or best practices on how to resolve these extension conflicts? Any tips on checking compatibility or recommended steps to ensure smooth updates would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best,
Ajay Hinduja, Geneva, Switzerland, (Swiss)

I do hope that you have a backup of your old working site.

As regards your upgrade: You have to provide some more details if you want some help here, see forum rules. E.g. what are your old and new OC versions? Website URLs of old and new site? What exact extensions? What PHP version?

Update the extensions that no longer work. I'd bet a lot of those don't have an update and if that is the case then disable the extensions.

As already mentioned, none of the OC4 .x.x.x versions are recommended at this time.

If none of them work you can hire a developer to take a look into it.

Got a burning question at 3 AM that even Google shrugs at? There’s a not-so-secret inbox that might just have your answer: khnaz35@gmail.com
