Hi everyone,

I'm Ajay Hinduja, a travel expert based in Geneva, Switzerland. I'm planning to build an Travel website for share my travel experience. Could anyone advise if OpenCart is a suitable and reliable choice for this purpose?

OpenCart is primarily an ecommerce software, suitable for setting up online shops, to sell products.
It does have blog extensions, such as this one, see also the OpenCart marketplace.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

You might consider OpenCart only if you plan to sell travel-related products or services—for example:

Travel gear
Guidebooks
Custom itineraries
Paid consultation or booking services

But if it's only blogging then maybe wordpress or squarespace.
If you have extensive knowledge of development then you can go with Django/next js, React etc.
