While discussing PHP support, has anyone tested the current versions of OpenCart 3.0.x.x with MySQL 8.4?

From what I understand, MySQL 8.0 reaches end of life in April 2026.

I posted earlier in the thread - no issues for me either so far with any of the sites I am upgrading to 3.0.4.1 with php8.4.
A few errors here and there and no real issues with the extensions either.
I do not use THAT theme - but so far not come across anything that is a real issue.

For an update: There will hopefully be a new version of the Cardinity payment extension soon to come, with the needed fixes for PHP 8.4.

The 3.0.x.x branch has now been updated, with added PHP 8.4 support, and a newer version of the cardinity payment method. Older PHP versions, like 7.x and 8.0, aren't supported anymore, one of PHP 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, or 8.4 is now required. We also changed the OpenCart version number to 3.0.5.0, to be used for the upcoming release.
