OC 3.0.4.0
PHP 8.2

Opencart version 4 is not advisable for live sites. It is still being tested and has known and unknown bugs that are critical for a secure functioning shop.
OC3.0.4.0 is available for download and supports php8 https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... ad/history
In addition Opencart 4 has very few modules, since it really is not ready for production sites but you will find the paid custom work section here viewforum.php?f=88
If you choose to use the stable version 3.0.4.0 there are many posts and extensions https://www.google.com/search?q=member+ ... e+opencart

Bugger would be good to know this beforehand. Unfortunately, it's not made clear when you go to the download page as the link is to 4.1.0.3 if it's not stable then it should be advertised as beta.by mona wrote: ↑Thu May 01, 2025 8:37 pmOpencart version 4 is not advisable for live sites. It has always been the case with Opencart not to use the latest version before checking the forum. It gets tested before release but like most software installations bugs are only found after more testing.
It would be more accurate to say all the download versions of Opencart are beta versions - some better than others. IMHO 3.0.3.8 for php 8 which basically is 3.0.4.0 is the best Opencart version since 1.5.5.1 / 1.5.6.4.

You are probably right, but hopefully you haven't gone too far with 4.1.0.3 and can still switch?lockiedownunder wrote: ↑Fri May 02, 2025 4:54 amBugger would be good to know this beforehand.
