How I upgrade from 2 -> 3

2 monitors. 2 Browsers open with phpmyadmin on each version. Old version in left monitor and new version in right monitor. First I used Neuhoff's import/export software and some parts of products were installed with opencart-2-x-export-import-multilingual-4-17.ocmod.zip, but could not find opencart-2-x-export-import-multilingual-3-22.ocmod.zip (Juergen Neuhoff mentions it, but does not reply on email), so I started to do things manually

I export ONE table from oc 2, edit the sql file in Notepad++, so it only contains the sql command starting INSERT INTO ...
I check the structures of the tables and see, if they match, I run the command in phpmyadmin under the tab SQL
Hope somebody finds this useful

You can use the Export/Import tool to copy items over from an OC 2.x.x.x release to OC 3.0.4.0, but the formats of the worksheets wil be slightly different between these 2 versions. See our FAQ on how to handle it.

Neuhoff: it is funny, that U reply here, but not to my many emails !! I have read your FAQ and I have found out, that here https://www.mhccorp.com/opencart/free-i ... t-import-4 I can only download opencart-2-x-export-import-multilingual-4-17.ocmod.zip and NOT opencart-2-x-export-import-multilingual-3-22.ocmod.zip

U emailed me: "For OC 2.1.0.2 use opencart-2-x-export-import-multilingual-4-17.ocmod.zip (PHP version must be 7.3 or later), or opencart-2-x-export-import-multilingual-3-22.ocmod.zip (if PHP version 7.2 or earlier)."

You miss both these options for download on https://www.mhccorp.com/opencart/free-i ... t-import-4

But thanks to this, I have learned a lot about working with phpmyadmin and tables and Excel and macros in Notepad++
