Product Option Special Price

I want to set special price to product option. We using only one option for product, not combination of several options. I want to set the price of the option so that it replaces the price of the product, I don't need arithmetic with + and -, and it must be shown as special price on product. What are the possibilities for this? Maybe there is some module for this?

If you can not find something that exactly fits your requirements you can contact the developer and ask of they can do custom work for you.
I believe DigitCart also has a live price option that will still require to use the + and - but the price will update automatically.

If you have only one option just for the purpose of having a special price, then why don't you define your product without that option and use the regular special price feature. You can edit the latter in the admin bakend at the product edit page on the 'Specials' tab.
