I just downloaded OC4.0.2.2 into Siteground hosting ad I am experiencing a problem where I cannot addd new attributes or change existing attributes. I am familiar with OC and I have set up new attributes group and attributes in the catalogue, But I just cannot add the new attributes into products. It's very frustrating. Can someone help me on this?

As recommended by ChatGPT, I ran a SQL "SELECT * FROM 'oc-product-attribute' WHERE 'product_id' = YOUR_PRODUCT_ID" to check the database manually in phpMyAdmin. The response I get is this "#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''oc-product-attribute' WHERE 'product-id' = YOUR_PRODUCT_ID LIMIT 0, 25' at line 1" What does that mean? What am I suppose to do?

And the stupidy goes on ..
You wrote that you are "familiar" with OC, then you should now that the tables are using underscores .. so the table you are quering is: oc_product_attribute where is oc_ is YOUR table prefix.

For a live website, you should use OC 3.0.4.0. OC 4.0.2.2 has been superceded by OC 4.1.0.0, which you could use for testing, but it still has some bugs which will hopefully be fixed in the upcoming OC 4.1.0.1.
