[SOLVED] Drop down menu items not selectable

Hello,
I'm trying to set up a fresh store. I figured out how to create categories, add manufacturers, etc. However when I go to Links tab of the product, all those attributes are on the lists, but can not be selected. Literally, when I hover a mouse over an item from the list and press a button it does not add to the product. None of the attributes (Manufacturer, Categories, Filters, etc.) can be added to the product. I think it's a bug, unless there's some other way to do it. I use mac and don't have a windows machine to try it on.

Opencart 4.1.0.0
MacOS Sonoma 14.5
XAMPP 8.2.4-0 (PHP 8.2.4)
Browser Safari (clean)

Presuming you are just testing and not using for a live site.
Opencart 4 is not suitable for live sites, the current recommendation for live sites is OC3.0.4.0 which can be found here https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... ad/history
It supports php8.

Thank you. Could both versions exist on the same server? Or should I uninstall v4?

Both can exist on the same server, but not shared files or multi-store, they are completely different
