That's strange - from what I know, Theme Editor changes are stored directly in the database, and the changes are pulled from the database to be displayed on your frontend. When you say "... find the modification not there", are the changes still there under "Theme History" at Design » Theme Editor but the changes at the frontend are gone or do you mean the changes under "Theme History" are gone entirely?abarn wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 1:49 amI've come across multiple times where I've modified a file, like the footer, only to come back in a few days and find the modification not there. This does sound like a likely cause since the changes made in Theme Editor is stored directly in your database. Unlikely that the changes done will just disappear magically. Something must be updating your database or someone is deleting changes made via the Theme Editor.
