Is it possible to display the weight based shipping cost on the product page, I saw there are extensions that adds the shipping estimator to the product page but I don't need that really, I just need to display the shipping cost on the product page for the weight based shipping
I am using opencart 3.0.4.0

Just like what @nonnedelectari said, how are you going to display the shipping cost if you don't know where is the shipping address. Unless your site only ships to one country only, then you can probably just refer to the getQuote method in the weight-based shipping's model file to calculate the estimated shipping rate based on the product's weight or call the getQuote method with a dummy address.
