Hi Swift, hi Mike,

i have downloaded http://www.gwtwg.com/download/addthis_v148.zip and it has worked perfectly on my 1.4.8b install for one day. Today I am surprised by a similar error as Sokanso:

Error: Could not load language !Error: Could not load template /vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/mysubfolder/catalog/view/theme//template/module/addthis.tpl!
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/mysubfolder/index.php on line 91

Are you missing a default subfolder (see //)? Sokanso, how did you solve? (continued from comments in extensions section)

See comments tab: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... sion_id=44 It's the developer of the 1.4.8b module.

Can anybody point me towards a solution? How to inactivate modules if front and back end of a webshop don't work anymore? Thank you in advance.

If the back end is not functioning after installing a module, you would ideally restore the backup you made before installing the module. :)

Failing that, look at the original module download and see which new files are created, and which (if any) are overwritten.

Then go in via FTP and carefully delete any new folders/files created by the module, one by one. If any core files were manually edited, download these and remove the edits, then reupload. Use file comparison software if needed. If any core files were overwritten, you would need to go back and reload the original files from an opencart download.

Hope you have a backup though.
