When a customer gets to the CheckOut page (checkout/checkout) the Continue button is present at the bottom of the first column UNLESS the customer has a preloaded address. Then no Continue button appears and Payment and Shipping are not loaded.
I have confirmed this behavior -- Use an existing address, no button. Change to New address, button. Flip back to existing address, no button.
Is this a known behavior or a bug?
OC 4.0.2.2 nothing special about the checkout process. All defaults, no custom checkout.
Any and all assistance cheerfully accepted.

I just tested it on my own installation OC 4.0.2.3, and if "I want to use an existing address" is selected, there won't be a "Continue" button displayed at the bottom of the first column, but there is no need for a "Continue" button since you can simply proceed with selecting the shipping and payment methods. If you try selecting different existing addresses, you should see a success message pop up at the top-right corner of the page that says "Success: You have changed shipping address!".

That makes sense. Most useful explanation I've seen
However, there is still room for confusion.
If no Continue button paints, then the text "Press CONTINUE Button After Form is completed" is misleading and should only appear if there is a Continue button. It's a nit, but user confusion is to be avoided at all costs.
Yea, the new one-page checkout in OC4 is quite a disaster. Have been planning to build one myself but can't seem to find the time for itDaveRiba wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 11:02 pmThank you Softmonke
