Quantity discount problem (1.5.6.4)

Hi,

I have the following problem, is there any extension to resolve this?
So.

I have a product with quantity discount, for example:

Product A
1 piece: 10 USD
2-4 pieces: 8 USD

Product A has product options. For example: red color and blue color.

Customer put 1 piece of Product A with red color to the cart. The store show 10 USD price for it.
Customer put an other piece of Product A with blue color. The store show 10 USD price for it too.
But on checkout page, the store compare 2 x 8 USD price, because there are separately, but same product in the cart.

I want to the following:
If the cart contains: 1 blue Product A and 2 red Product A in the cart, I want to calculate the price:
10 USD for red
and
2 x 8 USD for blue.
(the 3 product is same, but other variants)

How can I do this?

I check this, but I want another things. So. This is what I want:

If the cart has two of the same products, but with different product option, the discount need to calculate like if this two same products are different.
So, 1 red apple + 1 green apple is not 2 apple with discount price, but also this is two separate apple with original price.
But 2 red apple has discount price.

2 red apple + 1 green apple: The two red is discount price, but the green is original price.

In this situation there is only one product, the "apple", with original price and quantity discount price. So, I need to reset the quantity discount on different product options.

My problem still persists. Does anyone have any ideas?

I am using an old OpenCart version 1.5.6.4.
I use the default Opencart product discount option, which works well. However, if a product has product options, I run into a problem.

I will explain through a small example:

Product: ball
Product option: color: red or blue
Price: 10 usd
Discount: 3 pcs. - 8 usd, 5 pcs. - 6 usd

If the customer puts 3 red balls in the cart, he gets a price of 3 x 8 usd, which is correct. Then he puts another blue ball in the cart. He also gets the blue one for 8 usd, but I want the store to charge him 10 usd, since he only wants 1 of them.

So it seems that when calculating the discount, OpenCart does not take into account the different product options and treats them as the same product.

What should I change in the code to make my example above work properly?

WOW you have had this problem since 2016 ?
The only way to do it for free would be to have three separate product - one per colour. That is just the way it is because that is what most people want and for those that don't like yourself you can have three separate products.

In 8 years you have not found an extension,?
