Did an upgrade to 3.0.4 to be able to run PHP 8.3.
Everything is working ok but there is a little issue on some customers. With items in the cart and going to the checkout page, and the customer is logged in, the customer runs pass the pre filled Billing and Shipping fields. Chooses a Shipping Methode and up to now everything look normal. But when getting into the Payment Methods it show no payment options available.
Only after hitting F5 and reselect the prefilled payment address it finaly shows payment options...??!?
What can cause such a problem and how to fix it :-)
Ofcourse cleared every cache option and cookie ;-)

It would be helpful to post the theme and any payment extensions you are using. Also any extension that modifies the checkout.
Check both your OpenCart and PHP error logs for any related errors.
You could also test with the default theme and a simple payment extension such as bank transfer.

I also found this happening just today. Interested to see what is found out.
If I keep redoing the options for address, shipping, it mostly shows no payment options available but very randomly if shows the options. Not working more than it does.

Are you using Square as a payment method? Square servers had an issue today and have just been resolved. All my payment options have returned. If one extension failing was the cause of everything not working, is that a Square issue or an Opencart issue? Not sure if it's the real cause but my site has seemed to resolve itself as soon as the server issues were resolve. Just an odd coincidence. Even the most basic payment methods like bank transfer are not shown.
The weird part is that on non-chromium browser like Safari there is no issue??!?

The default pages are used for checking out. The scary thing is that there are no php or OC logs that lead to this problem. It seems that the pre-filled billing address is not 'saved' when you go to the next step.
If no payment methods are shown, it helps to reselect the billing address once.

Check your web browser's developer tool to see if there are any error messages or if a request is being blocked.

It seems there’s an underlying issue with both the Free Checkout and Cash on Delivery methods. I tested it myself on a fresh installation, and even after uninstalling and reinstalling Free Checkout, it still doesn’t work. However, when I installed and configured the Bank Transfer method, it does appear correctly at checkout.
Ps. Haven't tried to debug yet but at the first glance it does seems something is off.

@ronsibonsi: I am unable to reproduce this issue on a fresh install of OpenCart 3.0.4.0, just tested it using the Chrome browser. It would really help if you could provide some more details, e.g.: How exactly did you upgrade, from what old version? What's the website URL? What are your extensions?

We've used 3.0.4.0 on a few sites and have never experienced this one.
