Hanging up at Checkout using PayPal Website Payment Pro

I'm reposting this because my last post was deleted. I juts upgraded to 1.4.8 and when customers hit confirm order the checkout process hangs up. They never receive a confirmation even though the order has gone through. Many times the customer places two orders because he doesn't think the order went through. I'm using PayPal Website Payment Pro. Any advice would be appreciated.

I tested a shop I have running version 1.4.7 and everything works fine. Not hanging at please wait. Any help would be appreciated.
