Hello everyone,
I’m managing an online grocery store using OpenCart version 3.0, and I’m having trouble with email notifications. Specifically, I’m not receiving emails when customers place an order, which is crucial for managing orders effectively.

Check if you've enabled email alerts for new orders at System » Settings » "edit" for your store » "Mail" tab, under the "Alert Mail" option - "Orders" should be checked. Email alerts are sent to your admin email set in "E-mail" field under the "Store" tab at the same page.farrimery wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 3:33 pmHello everyone,

If all of these are configured and you're still not receiving emails, then it could be that your email configurations are not correctly set up or it could be an issue with your mail service provider of your admin email address bouncing these emails.
If you are using "Mail" for "Mail Engine", you might want to consider setting up SMTP with a proper reputable email service, like Resend, MailJet, SendGrid, etc. They all provide free tiers with a limit of how many you can send per day per month. If you are already using "SMTP", then you might want to check your configurations.
Nowadays, sending emails from your own server's mail server will highly end up with the recipient not even receiving the email.
