hi all,
I am changing prices in the exported file, but the stock_status_id is not updating after importing a file.
It shows as InStock for all the files. Help out me in this.
Thank you

Please explain exactly what you are doing. Since there is no native export / import for product we can all guess you are using an extension but guessing doesn't help you.
Help yourself and provide more details, to include what extension you are using and what Open Cart version.

Hi
I am using Opencart Version 3.0.2.0.
Using opencart Export / Import, which is from System->Maintenance->Export / Import.
I had exported 500 products and updated prices for the same. While importing it back to Opencart, prices were changed perfectly, but the stock_status_id updated as blank instead of previous id which were not altered at all.
BTW, not using any plugin.
Thankyou

Well, the Export/Import tool is an extension, not part of the OpenCart core. Anyway, what exactly did you specify for the 'stock_status_id' column in your Products worksheet?
Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig
Thanks for you reply.
Under the "stock_status_id" column it was mentioned in numbers, 7, 5, 1 like this
whereas Stock Statuses were like this
7 stands - for Available
2 stands - Instock
1 stands - Pre-Order
Let me know if needed much more clear details.
thank you

I found out, its due to the usage of Instock_status custom plugin.
is the mhccorp plugin works on customized fields too?

it won't work for extra DB fields without a customization of the Export/Import tool. See our customization page on this.coolbreeze86 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 9:05 pmI found out, its due to the usage of Instock_status custom plugin.
