credit card spamming

Hi there

I have a couple of arseholes spamming fraudulent cards via my online shop. They are making a low value purchase and then run several cards through on the order to try and get a valid card. My merchant is paypal who isa complaining about the number of card going through my site.

I am running fraudlabs, google capchta, noband blocker (IP and country blocking) and set up a number of fraud protections on paypal. My list of blocked IP addresses is growing and have blocked just about every country (inc USA and Uk) which is now costing me business. The one country I wont block is Australia as that is where I am based so now the fraudster are just picking IP addresses from Australia.

Any tip or extensions to stop all this would be appreciated.

Not perfect but gives valuable extra protection.

I would also suggest for a while you disable guest checkout.

You can try our IP-blacklist extension. If you see any dodgy orders, especially also for Missing Orders, a single button click from the order info page allows you to add it to the IP blacklist.

Also check you access logs. If these fraudster went through the regular checkout sequence using automated bots then chances are that our SpamBot Buster extension will instantly catch them.
