Greetings, I installed a clean version of opencart 4.0.2.3 and 4.0.2.3 on a godaddy server with php 8.1. Both present the following problems:
When entering the store settings, I cannot save changes, I get the error
"Warning: Please check the form carefully for errors!"
No element of the form appears in red.
The Length Class and Weight Class options are blank with no eligible options.
I can create new categories, but they are not reflected in the list of categories, if I can see them in the database.
When trying to create articles, they are saved in the DB but I cannot see them.

Try clearing your browser cookies. Check both the PHP and OpenCart error logs. Check your web browser's developer tool for errors.
And use a proper web host, not godaddy, if you are serious about ecommerce.
Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig
What he said. If you have registered your domain with godaddy, I'd move that also.
Finding a proper web host can be tricky though. The majority [very probably] are owned by a few big companies, so it might seem like a decent host, but will probably suck.
Endurance International Group (EIG) owns like 100 including Bluehost and host gator.
GoDaddy owns a whole bunch as well, but they also bought Host Europe Group (HEG) which owned quite a few big names so now GoDaddy owns lots and lots, problem here is that I think that they are mostly white label now so hard to tell until it is too late.

Unless they are telling me that the problem is a limitation due to the host (godaddy), I don't see it as relevant to discuss whether a host is better or worse. I have been on that host for 6 years using OC 3.X and it gave no problems, I was interested in updating the system and trying a new version of OC4.
Both logs are activated, you only see a legend in the logs when trying to create articles (precisely because there is no weight and length option)
Everything else does not generate errors in the logs.
I have already purged the OC cache and the browser, without results.
When creating a new store from the admin, it allows me to make modifications to its configuration, but not the main store, even so the other elements created in the lists (information, products, categories) are not shown, although if I enter the DB yes I can see them, I can't see the articles or demo material in the admin either, I already reviewed the config to see that everything is correctly directed and there is no problem with it

Did you install using an automatic installer? If so try a manual install.
If you did a manual install, where did you download from?
