Login page not working

Hello, I am in desperate help for fixing my login page.
Version: 3.0.3.2

If I go to: <website>/login, I get the following error in developer console: "login:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()"
But <website>/register does work, and new accounts can be created from there.

The url <website>/index.php?route=account/login does work but when trying to login it redirects to <website>/login and it does not work.

I don't know what the issue is, I have looked into detail and compared difference in files that are related to login (compared my project with a clean install of 3.0.3.2) and I find nothing. My htaccesss file is the default so should be no issue there.

I have looked into the error.log opencart file and it does not even report an error.

OpenCart doesn't have a /login page. I suspect that is being added by and extension. Try temporarily removing your htaccess, clear your web browser cache and cookies and try /index.php?route=account/login.

I renamed my htaccess file, opened a incognito window to <website>/index.php?route=account/login, and after entering details and clicking login it redirects me to <website>/login and i get 404

Any other suggestions?

Check your server error and access logs.

Switch off SEO URLs and try again. Try disabling your extensions/modifications one by one, clearing caches each time.

This issue is likely caused by a 3rd party SEO Url extension, in which you should contact its author to fix it.
