If you really want some help here, then you have to provide some more details here. Merely adding VQmod doesn't cause errors. It's more likely that you have also added a VQmod XML script, too, belongind to a 3rd party extension.

Has to be a xml file that also has been installed. You can go about this is various ways.
As Paul says uninstall the vqmods until the error goes away.
Or
Find the text on that line 9 and do a recursive grep for the code in your main store folder. This should find the file that is making this modification.
My take: Look in vqmod/xml folder and tell us what is in there.
