Featured Products Limit

I tried searching for previous reports of this but can't find anything. I'm running OC 3.0.3.9. It appears that the Featured Module counts disabled products in the Limit to be displayed. Here is an example:

1) Set limit in module to 4
2) Add 5 enabled products to module
3) Module displays first 4 products
4) Disable the 1st product in the list
5) Module displays only 3 products
6) Remove 1st product from featured list
7) Module displays 4 products

Is this a bug? I was running OC 1.4 and it didn't behave that way.

Looks like a reported bug, fixed in 4.0.x.x but not in 3.0.x.x.

Although it looks like it was fixed by removing the limit.
