Edit Home Layout and remove Carousel/Slideshow module.

I'm not sure what you mean and already disabled carousel, I added some custom css and set the container to display: none as a workaroundEdit Home Layout and remove Carousel/Slideshow module.

Design -> Layout -> Home -> Content Top -> Edit the top container and disable carousel
