Option not adding to Product

I am trying to add an option to a product but am having issues. I am able to added the option in Category->Option. However, when I go to the product Option tab and add the option, it disappears when I click the save button. I have tried modifying the max_input_vars value in php.ini and nothing works. No errors appear in any logs I have found. Is there something obvious I am missing. There are many other options on my products so this is not the first time doing this.

It would be helpful to post your full OpenCart version and PHP version. Make sure you also check the PHP error log as well as the OpenCart one. You could also check your web browser's developer console for errors.

This issue was been resolved. It was an issue with a module install that I did not understand. Please disregard and sorry for the double post.
