Almost Ready to go live

I've been running version 2.0.1.1 for the past five years or so and have finally taken the jump and installed 3.0.3.9, both sites are currenly sitting in sub directories on the same server. Data has transferred over to 3.0.3.09 and I've set up the extensions I want to use. It's almost ready to go live.

The existing shop is located in a directory called /shop and the new site is in /shop2, if I rename /shop to /shop-old and then /shop2 to /shop should the new shop just work or is there a bit more tinkering to do? After the move I intend to put the old shop into maintenance mode for now with the intention of deleting it in the future once I'm sure everything is running fine with the new one.

You will need to update the paths in config.php and admin/config.php
