Hi
I am doing an upgrade for a client from 2.3 to 3.x so I took backup and uploaded it on my server, later I noticed that there is a huge difference in number of orders and last order is showing for few months ago.
I first thought I lost the data during backup or upgrading process, but this wasn't the case as I checked the order table on the original store it is showing same data.
The full data is showing on the admin orders of original store 2.x and also if I use opencart backup and restore tool to export orders. But not showing in MySQL database manually.
same for customers data as well.
Can anyone help me out here what's going on.

Thanks

it's my old client so i know there is no other module that is doing this.
I think i might have figured it out, i think the hosting has messed it up somehow. as around same time for which data is missing, the hosting had shifted my client to different server. so i believe the database i am looking at is a old copy linked to the hosting account, but internally it is being stored somewhere else that is why i am getting correct data through opencart backup page.

i told the client more than a year ago that the hosting have issues, but for some reason they do not want to switch.

Sounds like the config.php files are not pointing to the database you think they are.
