I'm new to Opencart and just installed Version 4.0.2.3 and trying to understand how it works. i have a lot of questions but i will start with them one by one.
So. i configured the SMTP correct but the website not sending notifications about new registered clients, non sending contact us form.
what I'm messing here?

What mail settings have you set the the OpenCart settings? What have you set the Mail Engine to?

For a hostname that starts ssl:// you need to use port 465. For tls:// it's port 587.
for gmail, you need to set a separated password for it.
