Opencart Version: 2.3.0.0-2.3.0.2
Journal Theme

Hi Guys,

I am working on an opencart website that is selling lots of kitchen appliances, heavy products that used to only be for local delivery and the person who listed these products listed them with an attribute of "Local Delivery Only = Yes", see attached image.

I am looking to change these products now as being available for nationwide delivery, but there is alot of these products, and I dont want to go into every single one, as their is loads, and delete the "local delivery attribute" as it would take too much time. I also use the "Ultimate Shipping Extension" ... is there a way or deleting this attribute for all the heavy products at once or I can override the "local delivery=yes" attribute by adding in a rule into Ultimate Shipping??

Any help/info. very much appreciated.

If you are looking for real qucik fix, then disable the attribute from the journal theme itself.
you should be looking under Jouranl->product extras ->product T.A.B

Thanks but there are some products, small items, that would still be "Local Deluvery Only", so if I delete the attribute from the theme itself, will that effect the other items that are still local delivery? Many thanks for you input

You could write a script to do it, or an SQL query, or you could ask Johnathan from Clear Thinking if Ultimate Shipping can do it.

What's wrong with those options?

Asking for help from Johnathan and Ultimate Shipping is quick and easy and would probably be the first thing to try.

Otherwise it's a script. I don't think there's any other way.
