[SOLVED] OC 3.0.3.8 from github repo - Unable to proceed with upgrade

Hi,

Since my hosting provided upgraded to PHP 8.2 I had to upgraded my 2.3.0.3 production server with the following version:

Now I'm trying to upgrade it to 3.0.3.8 with PHP 8.2 support so I used the following repository:

https://github.com/opencart/opencart-3

For this I have created an free account on a hosting provided, installed OC2, imported the production DB without issues, everything was working fine, then I copied the OC3 installation files and when trying to run the upgrade I get the Upgrade page, but when I click CONTINUE nothing happens, tried with Chrome and Edge but nothing happens (see attached image).

What should I check?, thanks!.

The continue button provides feedback when clicked but the process is not launched.

There are a few posts on how to upgrade from 2.3.0.2 to 3.x. Like this one: viewtopic.php?t=186712

BUT with that said it is better to do a fresh install of OC 3.0.3.9: viewtopic.php?p=862670#p862670
Then migrate things over. The import / export tool will take care of products and customers.
For orders you'll need to do it by adjusting the database tables. Export out of your 2.x versions, adjust the order tables and import into 3.x. Or buy an extension that can do the order piece.
Your modifications will have to be updated, replaced, or left out.
Or there always is the route to hire someone to move everything over.

Thanks, with the files from tat repository (3.0.3.9) I could launch the update process, it seems to be a problem related to the original repository (3.0.3..
