1.4.7 to 1.4.8b minor problems

Hi,

I've used the upgrade script to move from 1.4.7 to 1.4.8b, all went successfully but now the homepage has:

Notice: Undefined variable: text_latest in /var/www/web76/web/catalog/view/theme/temp/template/common/home.tpl on line 9
Notice: Undefined variable: products in /var/www/web76/web/catalog/view/theme/temp/template/common/home.tpl on line 11

Has anybody got any idea of a resolve?

In 1.4.8 the common home had the latest products removed from the home view and controller and instead moved to a separate module. Copy the home.tpl from the default theme, and then enable the latest module in the admin area and set the position to "Home". That should solve it

Best practice is to not copy it but delete it from the custom theme and allow it to fallback to the default.

Yeah I did think that myself, just didnt want to confuse
