Opencart doesn't officially release any updates to any of the older versions. If you want to keep using the 3.x version, give this one a try: https://github.com/condor2/Opencart_30xx
It also supports PHP 8 whereas Opencart 3.0.3.8 released by Opencart did not support PHP 8

3.0.3.8 maintenance also does what you said about Condor's version and further making my point. There is even a version out there that has been said to be 3.0.3.9.
I think JNeuhoff is maintaining the github that I linked to above and to my understanding is the most up to date patched versions but I'm looking for confirmation.
Therefore my question still remains and should be answered so a lot less people are using various modified 3.0.3.x versions that are made to be php 8.x compatible.

Yes I know they don't officially update the 3.x version anymore which is the reason I put "official" in quotes and maintenance in the subject.EvolveWebHosting wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 9:44 amOpencart doesn't officially release any updates to any of the older versions. The version you linked to is from Opencart directly, not JNeuhoff. The last commits made to that branch were about a year ago. I believe this is the branch maintained by JNeuhoff - https://github.com/mhcwebdesign/opencart-php8

Ok but you are missing an important point and getting caught up in your understand of what I am asking....EvolveWebHosting wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 8:43 pmHi Mike,

I am not asking where JNeuhoff 's version is, Condor's version is, etc. What I am asking is where is the location that the OC version that is referred to as OC "3.0.3.8 Maintenance branch" is kept and maintained. If it turns out to be either of those two versions that is great and I have confirmation.
If you read through the forum you'll see many post referring to that version (3.0.3.8 Maintenance branch) and it seems to be actively updated. BUT I, and I am sure others, have downloaded a version that isn't the most recent and the most 'well kept'.
So this is the reason for my post... to get it documented somewhere and also when I refer people to the "3.0.3.8 Maintenance branch" I am pointing to the best place because I am sure JNeuhoff 's version and Condor's version are not 100% the same and that could make a difference if someone say they have and issue. In the same vein of why it is important to know if they are on OC 3.0.3.1, .2, .8 etc.

Yes, your link for the PHP 8-compatible version of 3.0.3.8 is correct:
https://github.com/opencart/opencart/tr ... aintenance
That's the link that JNeuhoff has been giving out, so I believe it's the one he maintains.

The 3.0.x.x_Maintenance branch is maintained by several developers and/or contributors, including Daniel, AddCreative, myself, and others. It's the most up-to-date 3.0.3.8-based release with added PHP 8 support and various bugfixes.
