After you click the green download button the link take you to another page with different versions
The paypal version date say Jun 24th, 2022. This is a year difference between the two update dates.

When I downloaded and installed the PayPal module it says there is a newer version. When you click the Here! link it takes you to the same page at the top of this post.

I just downloaded it was the latest version 2.02. The date seems to be the date it was first uploaded. Perhaps one of the regular extensions sellers can explain this.

There is a install.json file in the zip files that has the version number. It should also show in Extensions -> Installer.
